The prestigious historian, Federico Lorenz, chose the publication of the Argentine Cooperation, “History of Paraguay War”, as the best history book of 2015, upon the request of the Supplement Ñ of Clarín Newspaper.
The publication “History of Paraguay War, stories and memories in first person” was chosen by the award-winner historian, Federico Lorenz, as the best book published in this field during 2015.
Said issue, published with the Ministry of Culture, gathers part of the work done through the project of Argentine Cooperation and the identification and later study of the documentary heritage belonging to the Argentine literate, Estanislao Ceballos. The project, in which the Argentine CONICET and the National Archive of Paraguay participated, collects stories, personal narrations, interviews and letters from actors and witnesses from the last two decades of the 19th Century and the first decade of the 20th Century.
The presentation of the book was held in the framework of the meeting about “Más allá de la Guerra. Memoria, Reflexión y Cultura de Paz" (Beyond War, Memory, Consideration and Peace Culture)” last August, in the premises of the TV Pública, in Buenos Aires.
